Commercial Analyst - Nobel Prize in Physics-Winning Startup

Job Reference:  6lkerdM7

Salary:  20,000 to 25,000 GBP
Location: Central London
Application Closing - 22 February, 2020

Job Summary

Having recently negotiated global ownership of the patents for commercial use of graphene in proton exchange membranes (the main component of a hydrogen fuel cell), this startup project and its IP were developed by a Nobel prize-winning physicist (who works on the project himself).

Led by a small commercial team in London, there is now an opportunity for a high-performing graduate (most likely from a Physics, Material Sciences or Engineering background) to help them better understand where the technology sits in the current landscape and how the opportunities for commercial use of graphene in this way have evolved over the last 2 years.

Your research will help the business develop the future commercial strategy and is integral to the evolution of the business.

Aside from the deep-dive into industry research elements, you will also keep the wheels turning with the current operational research teams at Manchester Uni and Lancaster Uni.

About You

  • Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences, (likely Masters grads) from a top university.
  • Graphene, 2D material research, fuel cell research or degree courses/units would be desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial, risk-taking or commercial mentality

This is undoubtedly a risk-reward opportunity. The initial salary offered is in the range of 20,000 - 25,000 GBP with opportunity for equity after a few months.
